Zingaya has now entered into the U.S. market by releasing their new service for the websites called as click-to-call. They are the Russian based VOIP service providers who have been building a lot of credibility over the years. At the demo conference, they introduced the technology called Flash-To-SIP, which is flash based.
In order to use Zingaya, you will need to install their widget on your web-page. This will become the interface for the users and they’ll not need to install and any other software on their local computers.
Like the name suggests, they would just need to click-to-call. The calls in turn could also be forwarded to the iPBX, PBC, mobile phones or Skype. They could also be transferred to the computers that are VOIP enabled.
The competition for Zingaya will obviously come from Google Voice and Skype, which have been among the top contenders, but they could also expect stiff competition from the unexpected quarters.
More and more people these days prefer making calls right from their computers, and Zingaya could be their answer.
Some of the highlighting features of this technology are:
- Enterprise standards
- Highly secure
- Top sound quality
- Cross platform solutions
- Optimum scalability
The co-founder and project chief of Zingaya, Alexey Aylarov assures that they would be providing the best audio quality to their users for making telephone calls from the computers. The factors which could work in their favor could be their pricing and the tariff plans.
Their back-end and front end servers supporting this technology called Flash-To-SIP could work very well to their advantage.
Like I already mentioned above, the catchiest feature of this technology is that the users will not have to download or install any kind of software. Since it is Widget based, most of the activities will take place on the server side.
One of the most important features which the subscribers would primarily look at would be the quality of sound provided by the VOIP service providers. This is where Zingaya claims to be the best in the class. Zingaya’s software application is quite capable of supporting the new technologies and features.
The prominent ones are:
- It supports UDP and TCP protocols
- Noise cutback
- Smart Jitter Buffer
- Echo Cancellation
- Auto Gain Control etc
The effectiveness of the technology can only be analyzed if it is highly scalable. The state of the art application developed by Zingaya is quite capable of monitoring the vital tasks provided by their services. It can quite efficiently monitor the conversion of the audio streams and the performance of other protocols signals.
The cross platform ability of the Zingaya widgets makes it compatible with systems that run on Linux, Windows and Macintosh operating systems. The web developers should be getting the API access for their websites very soon, if they are waiting to subscribe for the click-to-talk technology.
With the Gmail Voice Chat creating a big hype about providing free calls within U.S. and Canada until the end of this year, the outcomes of Zingaya’s success is to be seen.
