Sounds like a great deal. For an easier (also really cheap) option you can get a tracfone from target, as i did and pay the same rate for international calls as you pay for local calls. And with the Double minutes feature you get 120 minutes for under $20 for 3 months! Great value and really easy to set up!

The Apple argument is very misleading as they bunch together the iPhone and the iPod, which is not a telephone, and say the competition is not catching them up on gross revenue, when Nokia and RIM have been always beating them since the day the iPhone was brought out and at present Google is outselling them in the US.
